Somebody took my picture

At the Wikiloops meeting in Steinfeld, someone – I guess it was Diana – took a photo of me playing Marc’s Jazz Bass in front of Gijs’ rig and Marc’s fantastic little Markbass amp:

Looks nice – thanks for the portrait, friends! It was fun being there with you all.

Oh, and the metadata of this one is quite interesting as well. This was taken with 75mm on a Nikon D7200 at ISO 14400. Amazingly good!

People seemed to like my instrument

As I wrote in the Wikiloops forum already, some people seemed to really like my bass. Kimbo (a guitar player from Cornwall whom you see in our 2018 Reggae video) said that it’s lovely to play. And here are Nilton:

A remark I’ve made

Here’s a reaction to a remark I’ve made this morning:

Raymond (STJray) from Canada was the original composer and creator of what we call the “template” (the basic track) of this personal summer hit of mine, and the version I like most until now is probably the one with Peter’s saxophone, and of course with Shi’s lyrics and vocals:
