Another one from the smoky jazz club scenes:

Thanks to my friends for a wonderful jam. And thanks to you for listening.
Here’s a lesson and a tour de force in musicality. Biréli plays Django Reinhardt’s composition “Minor Swing”:
I love Jazz Manouche like the French call it. Or Gypsy Jazz, or the music of the Sinti. It’s wonderful.
Thanks for listening.
I uploaded two tracks today:
List of musicians so far (drums are still missing and needed):
This one was promised by me. The second one was a suprise, but once I heard what was done I just had to play on it:
List of musicians, so far:
As always, thanks to my friends and to Wikiloops for making this possible. Thanks to you for listening.
Awesome two people track on Wikiloops, one of my current favourites:

Thanks for listening. And thanks to my friends for making this.
I presented lots of music from other musicians lately, mostly jazzy stuff which I like a lot. But let’s not forget the wonders of the ‘loops (Wikiloops), where I sometimes try myself on some stuff, and where others might even find that interesting, and add something after I did.
And so it happened with ‘Present Passed’ for instance, which I remixed myself after Mark’s (fishinmissio’s) nice saxophone. After that, there were three more, from users ‘indyxpress’, ‘ROBJOL’, and ‘adu’ (and I won’t put lists of musicians here for each of them, if you click on the numbers it will lead you to the Wikiloops pages of the songs where you can see all that plus the comments of others).
So here, without further ado, 3 remixes of ‘Present Passed’:
Pick your favourite. And even better: become a member (and best of all: a supporter) of Wikiloops, and give some thumb-ups and comments to the nice people who are doing all this.
Ok, here are 2 remixes of ‘Silver Moon’:
Haven’t heard anything like that last one before. Or, as I commented on this track:
“now that’s what I’d call a somehow “modern” interpretation of the topic “swing””
Enjoy. And thanks for listening.
Listen to that interpretation of Eden Ahbez’ old song (10 years older than me, but still one of my all-time favourite songs):
Killer, hm? Magalí is/was also the very good bass player of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band for years, but wow, she’s a super vocalist as well. Amazing what Joan Chamorro and his (school project) band can do.
See “A film about kids and music” to see their work over the last 12 years. You’ll meet many of the artists I presented here again in this movie – only 7 years younger than today 🙂
Wow. Listen to Paul Chambers on bass on this one. If there ever was a cool dude on bass, this was him…
Has to be transcribed to be understood I guess. Ok, sigh, lots of work – but also lots of learning involved. 🙂
A Wikiloops jam and collaboration with Olivier and Charlotte:

Thanks for listening. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did while jamming with my friends.
Without further words, here’s some inspiration for today:
Look up Joan Chamorro’s Youtube channel for more.
