I first noticed it in this article at heise online (also in English), but Google has a document about it as well (switch languages at the bottom of that page if necessary).
I became curious about my Pixel 6a and looked up its battery status in GrapheneOS. Looks like this:
100% after 226 cycles looks okay to me…
