Wilma in low light

The two neighbours’ cats – Cookie (as we call him) and Wilma (according to a nameplate which she’s lost by now) – come more or less regularly now, which is nice. It’s not easy to take photos of that smaller female one as she’s mostly very agile, but today she first slept beside me on the ground a bit, then on two sofas, and last not least on my chair. By then it was dark outside already, and the only lights in the room were a small LED reading and one indirect light behind the telly, so I had to crank up the ISO to 6400 to even get to 1/10th of a second with my lens fully open at f/1.8 (and a minus correction of -1.3EV because of my black chair). Looks like this:

Shortly after that, she’s had enough, smooched a bit, ate a bit, and then left. And we always hope that they come back, both of them.

As always, thanks for reading.
