“Should I go in?” (spoiler: he didn’t)
He had been in before, after a bit of bass playing on my side, so I gave him something to eat and to drink. Outside again, he just wanted to smooch a bit…

Yesterday, Zuleikha & Mitchie wanted to have some ice cream, so we went to an ice café in Groß-Gerau, where Zuleikha’s school is. On the way out, we saw cookie:
After the ladies got their ice cream, I took a photo of the place:
That’s right in the central part of Groß-Gerau, I marked it on Flickr.
Later when we were back, Cookie visited us again, and after having some snack, he looked back at me from the veranda before he left again, like this:

We’ve had some pretty hefty showers lately, and at the moment it’s still some light drizzle – so Cookie, one of our neighbours’ cats came in twice quite wet already. But after having some dry cat food and some rubbing against our legs, he felt quite comfortable laying down on the carpet in front of the TV set:
Missing Wilma since a while… but since both Mitchie and Zuleikha were sure that Wilma was pregnant, she must have given birth by now, and is probably busy with her kittens…
By now Cookie retired to some quieter area (he prefers Zuleikha’s room and bed), so the birds are back picking up their food outside.

Today it’s exactly a year since “our” Tuna died. And of course we had to visit her grave. I took my camera, and even a 2nd battery just in case – but forgot the SD card which was still in my computer at home from this morning.
So here are two snapshots from the phone instead:
We still miss her each day, so thanks for viewing.

Cookie as Romeo:
Not my sharpest photo ever, but it shows feline desire (one way, poor guy). I also tried and liked a new version of Darktable to convert the raw .orf image to a .jpg using only Arch Linux. It’s not as contrasty as the out-of-camera jpg, which improves the image rather than taking anything away.
