If you ever wanted to shake hands with 7x motorcycle world champ Valentino Rossi, you can do so this Friday, 23rd of May, 2008, in Cologne.
Looks like Yamaha Germany wants to present their scooters with the event. But I’m pretty sure that “The Doc” could do amazing things even with those.
Rossi, born Feb 16th, 1979 in Urbino, Italy, was World Champ in 1997 (125cc), 1999 (250cc), 2001 (500cc), 2002-2005 (MotoGP). He’s currently also leading the 2008 MotoGP championship, and his mentor during his time with Honda was none else but living legend Mick Doohan (World Champion 1994-1998), with whom he currently shares 5 consecutive World Championship winnings.
I don’t know about you, but if I’d be in Cologne this weekend, I would surely go and greet that man. Like I would do with Mick Doohan, or Michael Schumacher.
