Oh my God - they did it again. Go and continue to dig your own grave, Microsoft. Or, as one commenter put it:

Updating your M$ office with SP3 will block you from using/opening your own older documents. So get a clue, deinstall that proprietary crap, and start using ODF and other fine and free formats today.
Let’s go and bury them - they seem to want just that.
