Some of the best news coverage you can find about the war in the streets of Burma can be found in the New York Times, like this report.
However, the US still call that country “Myanmar”, a name which actually means the same as “Burma”, but was introduced by the illegal junta government which is again killing, torturing, and imprisoning people. Here in Europe, protests are getting louder, and sanctions are getting stronger. And most of our media here calls the country by the name it had before the 1990 elections, which were won with over 80% of the votes for and by Aung San Suu Kyi, who spent most of her time in prison since then.
So I sent an email to the editors of NYT, which reads:
Dear Sirs,
I’m grateful for your in-depth and well-informed articles about Burma, but I think you shouldn’t call it “Myanmar” anymore. That name was put onto the country by an illegal regime, and we Europeans call their country Burma.
Should the elected and imprisoned Prime Minister decide to change it, ok. But not them.
kind regards,

When will the terrorists realize that they cannot imprison a whole country?

According to Wikipedia, US & UK governments still recognize Burma as the official name. However, We in Malaysia and most (maybe all) of south east Asian countries have recognized Myanmar for a quite long time.
