“The riding experience of the 750 Shiver is like the one of an agile Hornet, but lighter and with a more discreet running engine.”
From: Motorradfahrer 7/2007, translated by me
“If until now the new Honda Hornet and the Suzuki GSR were unreached in the naked supersports class, now with the Shiver there’s a machine on stage, that could change the ranking out on the streets and on the racetrack. Will be very interesting. And with the soon-to-come Triumph Street Triple, a naked 675 Daytona, it will be even more interesting. We will stay tuned.”
From: Der Reitwagen 07,08/2007, Austria, translated by me
Right. What else should I be able to contribute, since
“…modern machines don’t show either their weaknesses nor their strengths, as long as you don’t give fire…”
Also from: Der Reitwagen, see above.
Which means: they all handle good under normal conditions and with average riders. So this seems to be a very interesting and exciting summer. It doesn’t matter if you prefer small 4cylinder 600s, or triples, or V-Twins - now for about 8k, you will get top material in each of these categories.
Cannot wait to read the comparisons, and also to compare them myself ![]()
