In Mörfelden (or Moerfelden if you can’t write German Umlauts), we have an old former water tower. Until now it wasn’t opened for the public very often, but they want to change that, and started today.
From our place (which is in Mörfelden-Walldorf), you can walk the 3.8 kilometers along the train tracks, which is what I did. Here are some photos which I took today:
Bridge over train tracks, graffiti
Wasserturm Mörfelden: looking out
Wasserturm Mörfelden: the roof from inside
Wasserturm Mörfelden: a look through its windows
Wasserturm Mörfelden: under its top platform
Wasserturm Mörfelden: stairs, up and down
Along the train track. All photos taken with the Olympus E-PL1 camera and the PanaLeica 25mm lens.
Thanks for viewing.
