This winter was very dull and dark and grey so far, with lots of humidity as well. And when the sun was out for short moments, there was a really icy wind as well. So even with the best intentions, this isn’t the time for outdoor photography; at least not here.
Indoors wasn’t much better until now. When it’s dark outside, then lights are turned on. And there’s no worse light than our typical office light.
Today I took this, which was lit from two sides with daylight:
Pretty minimalistic, but maybe that fits the mood. Olympus E-PL1 with the 45mm lens, handheld using ISO 400 and the lens wide open.

My feelings exactly. I finally got my initial lens testing done on that new Sigma. It’s ok, with a few caveats. I put a post up earlier today.
Hi Libby – yes, I’ve read your review of the Sigma. Seems to be a nice little lens from what I see. But like the 20mm Pany is a bit short, this one might be a bit long, so tho the price is remarkable, I think I’ll still opt for the 25mm PanaLeica.
