Dawn at “Frankfurt Europark”, or: the view from Torben’s window

Ok ok – I have taken pretty similar photos before. But after arriving at work this morning, I went into the usual routine first – taking out my notebook and starting it up in its docking station, getting a coffee, taking a look out. And when I saw that hazy moon from my colleague Torben’s place (opposite of Gertrud, so the view out is a bit more to the left), I knew I had to take a photo. Maybe that is just what makes me tick, I don’t know.

Days are getting longer already, so the sky short after 7am is considerable brighter than it was at the end of December:

And as you can see, some staff from Deutsche Bank or from Xchanging was coming in already, both being blurred because of my 2 second exposure.

Taken with the Olympus E-PL1 and the Panasonic Lumix 14mm lens. Slightly cropped a few pixels, keeping the 4:3 aspect ratio. Look at Jordan’s blog to see some nicer photos taken with the same lens.

Thanks for viewing.
