Today I took some photos in and around the company again. I took the first one after I had parked the car, in the garden behind our “house ‘C’”, and looking into the direction of the new British Telecom data center:
During our lunch break, Arno and me wanted to walk around a bit, but it soon started raining. So we went back in to have some coffee, and Arno started working again. I took his portrait in a mix of natural and artificial light:
I also got another one where more of him is seen, but I liked this one better.
Arno wanted to check the screws on his wheels after changing to a set of winter tyres lately. So he had asked Steven, another colleague of ours to help him out with a torque wrench. Down we went into the garage, me with a camera again:
Arno had moved his car almost next to mine, where they had a bit more space to work. And here’s the view of the garage during our lunch break – a bit more “populated” than in the mornings when I arrive:
Steven is a nice guy – later he helped me with some “real work”.
Technical: first image with the E-PL1 and the Panasonic Lumix 14mm lens, the rest with the 50mm macro lens on my E-520 DSLR. All converted with my usual workflow: Olympus Viewer 2, and then RawTherapee 4. Exif info is intact in the bigger pictures, which you can find on Flickr as almost always.
Thanks for viewing.

I like the cars in the garage with the soft neutral tones and then the reds opposing them. Nice.
Thanks Libby. The reds are indeed very strong here, they have a value of 255…
I really like the first photo, with the ripples in the clouds. Very cool!
Thanks Gregg!
