… you weren’t close enough. Or so they say. This morning, I took some photos of our cat sitting on the same sofa like me. Because the cat and its fur were really low contrast when filling the frame, I had to switch to manual focus. The lens showed me a distance of about 30cm from sensor to object. Auto white balance and auto ISO (maxed out to 400 for still good enough quality). So I ended up with 1/13th of a second, hand-held, for this first one, which I cropped to 6×7 format in post:
“Tuna” was looking outside for prey or for someone/something to play with. When she heard Mitchie & Zuleikha in the next room, she turned, and I took this with 1/6th of a second, also hand-held:
No big art, I know. But I still like them, and they were both better in black & white, with a simulated orange filter.
