Today a link on Kirk Tuck’s pages made me read an interview with Kurt Markus, and later look onto his own site. I like his thoughts – and there, on the page “Nudes” (safe for work; no images there), I found it:
“Once the clothes are off, and fashion is no longer in play, you find out what kind of photographer you are. The pictures become your mirror, saying more about you than the person you’ve chosen to photograph. And you thought you could hide behind the camera.”
That, and Kirk’s wonderful photo of a young girl in Rome, reminded me of last year, and of Sarah. Did I get a connection between model and photographer, like Kirk usually gets it? And does it tell more about me than it does about her? You decide:
