Six sunflowers

No, we don’t have summer yet in the Northern Hemisphere ;-) But today I saw this bottle of one of Mitchie’s perfumes standing around, and thought “what a nice colour”. And since I know that glass bottles filled with some kind of liquid are a real challenge when you try to take nice pictures, I thought I’d give it a try.

So here are six tries. First, a full view of the bottle (where from the shadows you can also see that I used two flashes at around 45 degrees from behind); the rest of the photos are more like close-ups. Please note that I didn’t change anything on the lighting setup or on the camera settings, the different tones and colours and brightness levels are simply the result of looking at the object from different angles:

If we name these photos sunflowers 1 to 6, which one’s your favourite? Or your wife’s or girlfriend’s?

Thanks for viewing – and even more thanks for voting or commenting. Oh – and don’t call me Jean-Baptiste Grenouille now ;-)

My favorites are Nr. 1 and Nr 4 (from top to bottom), because these pics are honest and clear.
